Anyone know if these mufflers can be repaired? Son was involved in a crash at local track here and wrecked the muffler pretty bad. I don’t even know how it got this bad. Mounting bracket got pushed into the canister. Muffler isn’t that old. Would hate to toss out a $600+ part. Thank you.

I would call FMF. They are great to deal with in my experience.
My old man and I hooked up a triangle chain attached to our truck's hitch and pulled a dent out, cheap old school way wouldn't hurt to try 🤘🏽
Reverse the damage. I would bolt it down to something solid, like a work bench, use the canisters mount bolt hole. The canister has to be solidly mounted. I would take a soft strap, like a tie down strap and loop it over the end portion of canister just in front of the buckle. Use a come a long or small winch attached to the strap to slowly pull down on canister, this should revers the damage, it’s better than using a hammer or mallet. You may be able to get it close enough to run with it, if it fails, you needed a new one anyway.
