hey I just wanted to ask if it’s normal for my 450 to be popping quite a bit, when I rev it and let go of the throttle it’ll pop/backfire (when in high rpm) and same goes for when I’m on the track or just cruising in some trails, I’ll be in 2nd and let off the gas and it’ll start popping. I’m not sure if I would call it backfire it’s not that loud it’s kind of like a “sexy” pop, and it sounds really nice but I have noticed a lot of the 450s I ride with they don’t pop nearly as much as I do or pop at all , idk if that’s cause they aren’t on the same kind of map as me or what but I’m just curious as to why this happens and if I should be worried about it, it’s done this from day one since I got it from the dealership.

it can be engine mapping. try decreasing fuel ingection and increasing ignition timing. decrease/increase just by 1 or 2 points to not ruin your map settings, should help
What you are experiencing is a lean pop. It can be caused by too lean fuel mixture or a leak in the head pipe. The latter occurs when unburned gas gets air from a leak and pops.
Try a different map. It’ll do that with certain maps if the adjustments aren’t right
