GF has work in Denver and I have plans to join her for the weekend of Nov 3-5th.
Are there any good downhill parks in the area? She’s a beginner biker and want her to have fun. Looks like Winter Park already closed for the season.
Thank you for your local knowledge and insights.
maybe ask on a MTB forum?
Mountains are likely getting their first snow this week. The trails on Green Mountain should still be open, but it's no Winter Park.
You might want to have an alternative plan if you are coming in Nov. Could be 75 and sunny or could be a blizzard, but that's what's cool about Colorado.
Check out Ruby Hill in Denver. No other bike parks will be open in the mountains.
Small and no lifts, but it has a lot of fun stuff to ride, from beginner to advanced. This is where I would take someone that was trying to learn to jump and such.
Get ready to hike up the small hill but it's totally worth it. Fun place.

Infamous - There may not be any DH proper bike parks like Trestle, but there are plenty of fun local bike parks... even more if you're willing to travel a little bit. Google any of the following...
Barnum MTN Bike Park, Denver, - put on by the people of Trestle!
Ruby Hill, Denver
Golden MTN Bike Park, Golden
Erie Singletrack, Erie
Valmont Bike Park, Boulder
Floyd Hill Open Space, Evergreen - Caution, this is more black diamond to double-black diamond single-track!
PM me, or reply here once you’re in town if you need any more info, or if you’re down to get a beer at one of the awesome breweries such as New Terrain which is right at the base of Golden Bike Park!
Much appreciated donman! Sent you a PM. Hope to meet and sponsor a beer or three.
Valemont is probably the best option as it has great beginner stuff as well as plenty to keep an expert entertained.
Downhill parks will be closed. Plenty of trails and bike parks to ride depending on weather. Front range closes trails and their bike parks often due to mud. It’s luck of weather this time of year
Not sure how far you’re willing to travel but they just opened up this massive park in Berthoud. Haven’t been yet but drove by it during construction several times. Place looks top notch…
Where in Berthoud is this? Looks pretty sweet.
Looks like its over here: 1223 Meadowlark Dr, Berthoud, CO 80513
Included Loveland, CO and I-25 for reference.
I always like to hit Golden, North Table loop - then into town for lunch, then back up and do it again. It's fairly mellow but has some technical stuff to make it interesting. Good views of the city - Coors brewery etc. Temps are still good right now.
i would love to have a place like that near my home, looks like an awesome place to learn and even looked like there were some pretty good Black lines
Yeah it's a fun little spot to have close by. They have everything from green runs to blacks, so there is something for everyone. A great place to learn some new stuff and challenge yourself - if you are up for it.
