SLO Area

I'll be moving to the SLO area at the end of June. Looks like the closest tracks are DT-1, Honolulu Hills, and American MX. How are these tracks?

Dt-1 is a fun, jumpy, rutted track built on flat ground with no elevation change. Also not the best smelling during the hot summer due to it being next to a water treatment plant… Honolulu hills is a good mix of hardpack, soft dirt, ruts, jumps and hills and very safe. Havnt ridden American mx as they’re only open select weekends… another option a bit further away is cal city mx, just rode there for the first time last weekend and the dirt was amazing. Reminded me of lacr’s sandy/ loamy dirt (rip). Unfortunately not too many tracks on the central coast anymore.

In the San Luis Obispo area…get to know some local riders…there are hidden tracks in the hills…in river beds…up in the mountains among awesome trail systems…

And…you’re gonna be told to NOT share it on sm…etc.

And…there’s a damn good reason for this. ESPECIALLY in that region.

If you happen to be working on the base…there’s some riding there, too.

Good luck!

Thanks for the heads up. Are there any tracks I should stop by on my way in? I'll be taking I40 to 46, and then 101.

Reach out to Adam Enticknap aka the 7DeuceDeuce on social media and ask him where to go…it’s his stomp.
