My brother just got out the navy and moved to King George Va. He finally pulled the trigger and bought a new bike last week. He said there aren't many ride days at Budds. Anyone know of any tracks around the area he could ride? He is a Squid so don't need anything fancy lol. Just needs to ride.
Thanks
wicomico Mx park , my boii told me they redoing the track there I think , reopening soon tho
Tomahawk in West Virginia would be 2.6 hrs or so away.
maybe southfork in va
The landing Mx in Easton md
There is another track/riding area almost next to Budds creek.
That’s wicomico, it’s not a great track from what I’ve seen.
The Shop
How far do you want to go?
Charles City Dirt Riders. Fairly close, membership place.

I like Wicomico, but it seems like it is always dry and not very well kept. Just a small drive from Waldorf though
The Landing is not too far away

For a new rider it should be a good place to start out.
I thought they had closed?
I liked riding there ….. except for the OC bridge traffic!
Only Sundays
Excited to check that place out, I just found out about it a few weeks ago. My kids live with their Mom in Tilgham, MD, I'm down by Quantico, VA. Might be able to fit in some riding there once I get healed up and in better shape.
I would do Southfork I would do tomahawk MX and I would do Breezewood all three are easy to ride. Good flow, good dirt. Breezewood prep's 3 times during the day as you're there so it's always prime.
Been to Tomahawk a few times, well prepped, easy to ride, and easy to learn on.
Or Friday or Saturday ….. colder weather it’s smooth sailing 😆
