Tech 7 sizing vs Fox SG12

I’m size 11 in shoes and I wear size 11 in Alpinestars. Try some on at a local dealer if you can.

I have tech 7 and 10 and instinct. All fit good size 9. I have to say the 7s fit like a glove. 7s and instinct are pretty close. 10s I wear for the protection but I hate the booty

get the size 11. Tech 7 and SG12 is pretty much on par with sizing but i dont think the 7 has half sizes

I wear the same size in both, though the SG12 is just slightly more snug which I like. 

A 10.5 Gaerne SG-12 is an EU 45. Footbed length on that size is 300 mm.

An 11 Alps T7 is a 45.5, the closest EU size to the Gaerne that Alps offers. Our sizing info shows footbed length as 302 mm, but that seems like we measured incorrectly. It should either be 300 mm or 305.

Next size up (12/47 EU) is 310 mm which will be  too large.

Size 11/45.5 is going to be your size.

Previous instinct or 2.0? 
I just sold a set of Tech 7s because the arch tapers in and is not as wide as the previous Instinct. I ordered a set of 2.0 Instincts and was surprised that the new model now tapers in at the arch and has less room. If you have wide or flat feet you might wanna size up in the Tech 7. I tried adding an insole on top of the stock one which helped lift the foot higher and alleviate the pinch at the arch but was not as comfy as the instinct for me.

I didn’t even need boots, but I bought a set of these because of the price. $259 shipped.
