I need to ship 3-4 bikes from southern Ohio to Lake Havasu, AZ.  I’ve heard of people using fastenal but I tried and they said they don’t ship motorcycles. I had another place give a $800 per bike quote.  Anyway have a hookup? Or past experience and some insight ? Thanks

When do you need it done?

Uship.com

if you have some time, a shipper might be able to put a route together (pick up and deliver other things along the way) and give you a better price.  I had a bike shipped from WV to Dallas a couple months ago and it was a little over $800.

I have used Haulbikes.com in the past and they were very good to work with.

Not a huge hurry like today but in the next week or two.

Haul bikes is the best out there. But sometimes slow. Try uship as well - but don’t go with a newbie carrier, make sure they have at least 10 positive feedbacks.

Haul bikes has been around a long time . If I want my bike in 1 piece that’s who I would use. You could get all 4 bikes shipped for probably 1,200 at the cheapest . But your bikes will share the trailer with other cargo. That will most likely damage the bikes. Real cheap means the carrier doesn’t hv Real cargo insurance, pays the driver nothing, no maintenance on equipment- trl starts on fire going down the rd from a bearing fire, driver abandoneds the equipment, has a secret arrest warrant. Etc. the co tells you I will pay for flight to go get his trk, no I,m not kidding. People hv no idea the crazy stuff out here.  A

A trk owner from Mn. Had to fly to Pa. to recover a trk & cargo. His driver said I hv to take another route east to west . Because his ears hurt from the hills. It’s all hills in the east. Then he quit saying the job paid nothing. The owner said you,ll never get another job abandoning my equipment. He said driver jobs pay nothing & he doesn’t give a shit. He’s going to hang out with a friend out east. I could see hauling bikes being a little bit of a hassle. You say drain the fuel & trans oil. They don’t now you hv race gas in your new 100k trl. And once empty no one will load it. Because it stinks no oder is allowed in any trl. On majority of shipments.  Now the driver sues you for 15k a day. Because you violated the contract. He might insist on  a new 100k trl.

Usually takes 2-3 weeks just for booking then wait on the route... didn't take long once Motoshippers's had my bike in their hands..

I just used UShip and it cost me $850 from upstate NY to Houston area TX. Great shipper with a new Mercedes tall van.

Nimble Express was the carrier. LMK if you want his number.
