Maybe I’m late to the show but I noticed Racer X giving some props to the privateer. IMG 4267 0

The recognition is great, it would be a lot better if the same people who print racerx could increase the purse for the privateers as well. Seriously, don't they have to pay to enter a race? I always thought that was petty, like the entry of the 100 pro racers is what keeps the whole program going, talk about not leaving any stone unturned for a buck. But just like getting a national in the southeast, or returning to Glen Helen, we are told again and again there is just no possible way despite super-human efforts. It's gotten to the point were a lot of very fast privateers do not even do the nationals anymore, hasn't it? Of course, it seems a lot of fast factory riders don't do the nationals either. Unfortunately, this cover may be more about propping up a series with diminishing significance, rather than promoting a truly heroic story. The Coomb's are businesspeople, not an altruistic organization.

Ty & his very supportive family deserve all the attention they're getting, IMO. They've been all in from the get go, and Ty has ridden hard.

With the addition of SMX you’ll see more riders lining up for nationals. And attendance has been great.
