Anyone have issues with ordering stuff from them outside box stores, direct from their site? I ordered a garage mat for my bike back in November, was told it was delayed due to container issues and will ship in December, emailed for an update and its been crickets, Pete's email says out of town for emergency for weeks now. About to file a credit card dispute.
I would just go ahead and file credit card dispute. There is NO excuse for not shipping the products you have paid for and believe me there are retailers who want you to spend money with them. The shipping container excuse was the COVID excuse but thats long over. Get your money back and do business with someone else.
Don’t jump the gun here. Supply issues are still a thing and as of last week, they were still not here.
Matrix is a solid company and you don’t need to get all crazy about it.
They would gladly refund your money, if you’re tired of waiting…
I talked to Pete a few weeks ago and he was very frustrated with some supplier issues he'd been having. It took a few months to get a tool box I ordered, and when he finally received it, it was the wrong color. Fortunately I didn't care and he shipped it out right away. Matrix is a standup company. If you aren't getting your order, it's because of supplier issues.
Matrix is a solid reliable company. If you are frustrated from waiting, call them, they will gladly help you out. Matrix prefers to get product to customers fast, they don't like the extended wait either.

Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
If they took your money, and didn't send you your order, you have a legit issue, that's not cool.
If the website took your order, and they simply haven't filled it, that's another story.
I get there's issues with suppliers, but almost 4 months for a garage mat?
I thought the same thing. Way beyond the excuse time limit for a transaction unless stated "backordered" upon purchase.
This. Were you able to speak to anyone there?
Amazon has the Matrix Concepts R4 Floor Mat in stock if that's what you were looking for.
They wont reply to the OPs emails he said. " emailed for an update and its been crickets, Pete's email says out of town for emergency for weeks now" I understand that things happen in life but this has to be more than a 1 man operation.
Where is their stuff made ? China?
The tool boxes are at least USA because they're Craftsman boxes with marked up 2-3x with some vinyl graphics applied.
Matrix: NEW M100 5 DRAWER FACTORY EDITION TOOLBOX
Craftsman: CRAFTSMAN 2000 Series 26-in W x 19.75-in H 5-Drawer Steel Tool Chest
Are people really buying a 5 drawer craftsman toolbox with vinyl graphics for $700
Sounds about right for anything related to "moto".
This one is 2 inches shorter , still 5 draws and US made . On sale for $99. https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMAN-1000-Series-26-in-W-x-17-25-in-H-5-D…; Might be worth checking out. I have not looked at the boxes recently. A couple years ago when I was looking for a toolbox I looked at them and they were thinner metal and cheaper feeling , like they would not last as long. Compared to the Husky and US general boxes. But at 99 it might be a good deal. I might grab one to use as a small set of draws in my printing area. light duty stuff.
I don't want to turn this into a toolbox debate, but the Craftsman boxes are junk. The Chinese US General boxes are much better quality.
With regards to that $99 box, Matrix offers their own flavor: M70 - 5 DRAWER TOOL BOX (matrixracingproducts.com). Only $399.
I have no insight into the other products Matrix sells, but I find their box pricing to be pretty egregious.
Dear USAFWX
First we apologize for the delay with your mat.
We have had unexpected delays and have developed a new vendor (supplier) relationship to resolve this issue.
I understand your frustration.
Rest assured, we take customer satisfaction seriously, and we would never purposefully hold onto a customer's money without fulfilling their order.
As you stated Pete was out of office and looks like we have had lapse in communication which we will address internally.
Could you please email our CEO Founder eddie@group6usa.com to resolve your issue.
Thank you, I appreciate the reply, I will email you shortly, no worries.
Pit Row
I don't see how its a debate if You said the same thing I said?
I'm thinking of grabbing one of the $99 box's to put xacto knives and printer parts in. light duty stuff. That would be in a shoe box or similar if I do not buy one.
I did say that I have not looked at them for a while , so I did not want to condemn them if they were better than the past. But I did start of saying they were not very heavy duty.
I meant that as in this thread was about someone having issues getting things from the vendor and I don't want to keep shitting all over it with toolbox talk, not that I disagree with you.
I purchased a matrix 2 drawer plastic box and love it. I’ve had good luck with their stuff.
Got a call from Eddie the CEO today, congratulating me on our new one / my first daughter and apologizing for the miscommunication and order delay and told me to let him know if I wasnt taken care of and that I should be seeing a refund. Havent had a moment to respond as I'm on like 4 hours sleep but wanted to come here and make sure I gave a shout out for a stand up company and guy. Will buy from them in the future. @Matrix Concepts
When I had an issue with a shipment for an electric stand a year ago I emailed Matrix and the CEO called me back and provided the status and offered a solution. Great company in my experience. Great products too. Their stands are the best.
Eddie Cole is as OG as it gets.
He’s a great guy and an even better friend
