This game is just not very fun
I used to be absolutely addicted to that game. My wife hated it😂😂. Played it for years. Once 3 came out it got so freaking complicated I gave it up. It was best when it was just simple and fun.
What are all these ads? I used to play the old one and just reinstalled. This is awful. 2 steps forward, 10 steps back.

I tried 3…hated it…I still play 2.
It being complicated and a challenge is actually what made it more fun than MadSkills 2 I think. Bikes look better, scrubs and whips are nice and overall a lot of fun. Just takes a bit of getting used to I deleted MadSkills 2 after a few weeks of playing 3.
@NP301 You pay a few dollars to get rid of the Ads forever. Definitely worth it since it's a free game.
I dont get all the hate. I play it pretty regular and love it. Im not a big gamer and its the only game I will play on my phone. Hmmmmm, now that I say it that way maybe I dont even know what a good game is.
I think it’s their best game yet, but they’ve got to to stop with the sand sections and long rollers. they’re mimicking what they see in real life. tracks had to change for 450’s (in real life) but that doesn’t translate to gameplay. ditch the rollers and sand!

This. I still play MSMX2 weekly. I found all the roadblocks and ads in 3 just plain irritating and not much fun at all. There's still some core folks playing 2. Still about 30K players playing weekly jams.
I tried 3 when it came out, just enjoyed playing (and still play) 2 every week.
The problem with 3 is how long it takes to earn new bikes. With 2 I’m on the best new bike within the first month playing semi regularly after they come out. With 3 I’ve been on bike 4 forever and I’m only halfway to saving up for bike 5 with the same amount of game play. It’s frustrating and kind of reduces incentive to play when I’m competitive in 2
I am a top 100 player on both games so I play both a fair amount anyway. But I agree with most in this thread, after being spoiled on 2 the roadblocks as someone called them are annoying for sure. Ads, time to get next bikes, etc. so I’d say I still prefer 2.

No I tried it and couldn’t stand it with a controller. You can see my level of play above.
The 2nd one was just the same way unless you wanted to pay to remove the ads and pay for the bikes but if you stuck with it it just took a little grinding to unlock the bikes I've been playing 3 since they came out with it and havent paid for anything and am on bike 7 they just released a bike 8 and I'm about halfway to buying that one.
No you can't use a controller on mad skills 3 like you can on 2 they removed that because of people complaining about it on mad skills 2

ok that settles it. some people are just that much faster. I can’t conceive how 1-2k more gamers could be so much faster. I wish I could see their gameplay and study what they’re doing. I tap out around 1500 on the Jams before it’s clear I’m not able to go much faster, so hats off to you guys with those skills.
Also some feedback
- wish the Jams switched on a slightly more frequent basis
- wish there was a track builder for users to create their own designs. the most popular designs wins you points/buying power
I’m in the top 1000 and have never played with a controller. Didn’t even know that was possible until you wrote this 😂

what’s your latest time on either of the current jams? I need to see if we’re taking razor thin, nanosecond differences or what’s up.

Adding a scrub button killed 90% of the competitive integrity that MSMX3 had. The only thing that set apart the top 1% of players from everyone else was the ability to bring the front wheel over the lips of jumps to scrub 2D-style. That technique was hard to execute consistently, and players who could do so were rewarded with much better times. Now, you just scrub button every jump. There’s nothing else to separate the elite players from everyone else, so players are separated by tiny margins. I guess this is just my opinion, but I would rather fight for a 0.3s gap by scrubbing something that other players aren’t scrubbing, rather than fighting for a 0.03s gap because we both hit the scrub button but I hit it slightly better.
Not true. You can scrub "wrong" or "too early" and next thing you know you're popped up in the air. Alternatively, if you can master the wheelie over a lip while scrubbing at the same time, you're going to fly.

Feedback/Idea:
Allow users to save their favorite Jam tracks and leave those running in the background. Players who favorite the same track can continue competing on their favorite courses as long as they wish.
