Which knee braces have QD straps.
I’m thinking about replacing my EVS SX02 braces. I’ve lost quite a bit of weight, they are a tick large now. That and they don’t have stops on the pivot. Side to said they are pretty good but no stops to keep your knee from back under. Forward they are ok. Also very easy/quick to get on. I showed them to my knee Dr he said they were fine, wear them.
I fell going really slow yesterday in a tight right hander and kinda ended up sitting down on my left knee. Not sure how bad I tweaked it. Had double meniscus surgery same knee 2 years back. May not have mattered what brace, ended up in a really awkward position with my leg partially under my bike.
I tried a couple of higher end braces before I settled on these EVS braces. Nothing I tried before had QD straps or felt like they would stay in place. I googled and couldn’t come up with anything with QD straps. I’d think some would have it. Having to adjust four straps on each brace every time they go on just wasn’t for me.
Comments please, thanks Billy
I have used CTI, ASTERISK, and have POD now. The Asterisk was by far the most comfortable. Also has anti rotation tether and adjustable extension stops.
I watched several video’s on RATV, EVS WEB Eclipse Knee Brace had QD release on all straps. I think I’ll order a pair and see how they fit. This model may get the prize for most expensive too, just south of a grand. Something like $958.00 ish a pair. None of the good ones are cheap.
Appreciate your comments, thanks Billy
