I stopped by on my way home from Tobermory, we were scuba diving up there.
Reminded me of the old days, pay at the gate and everything is accessible. No pit passes, track is wide open for viewing, no VIP areas blocking prime spots. Great racing as well! We stayed for the first 2 motos then headed out. It was hot! Truck said 96 degrees when we left. Plan to go back for the whole thing next year.
I was bummed they didn't have event shirts or anything. Our series has almost as many t-shirt trailers as racers.
They had shirts/hats to help support the Canadian MXdN Team. Teams might have some at the rigs. Might have to ask for them.

GD is an unbelievable track. I raced Pre-Mix in 2020 and couldn't believe how deep the ruts got. Like seriously gas tank deep. It felt like you were riding underground.

To drive from Canada to the US, you'll need a valid passport or an alternative document like a NEXUS card, enhanced driver's license, or Enhanced Identification Card. You will also need to go through customs and potentially show proof of vehicle registration and insurance.
Does anyone know when Gopher will be aired on FOX Sports ? Nothing showing on my listings for it this week.
Ok Thx for the info. I hv the enhanced drivers lic with a star on it . My passport is expired there only good for 10 yrs I had 2 of them. I just got back from an injection butt to foot is real numb . Feeling woozy too I was supposed to hv a driver . They added more injections 7-22 that’s the 1st practice day for Deschambault. So that race is off that sucks . Plus injections on 7-15,18
Be aware that most of the time, CBSA (Canada Border Services) are very thorough with criminal records checks and will deny entry to Americans with any derogatory information, including driving under the influence charges.
Yes a drunk driving I America will permanently ban you from entering . Along with a bounced check. I,m not up on the current reasons there might be more. I worked on the hhg rig in 95 in Ottawa we drilled under the river & punched out in Quebec. We had to file for a work permit it took months the document was on thick paper with diff colored gold leave type . We had to do inventory on what we brought in strongest hhg rig in the world . We hired people to do it. If I was going I would do inventory. Trucking I was up there aprox 200 times . We had drivers that purposely bounced 1 mil dollar checks , to get banned . I loved going up there & being a Wi. Resident they look at us differently like the cheese heads r good people. We,ll let it slide. Do Not ever think about drinking & driving in Canada. I learned that in 95 always take a taxi . The clubs closed in Ottawa a hr earlier so we jumped in a taxi to cross the river into Quebec for 1 more hr . Then off to a packed restaurant in Quebec. We had a blast I wanted to marry 1 of the women I dated up there . But she didn’t want to move down here , her family etc. Yrs later trucking I had to learn more French. Waiting out another storm here . But anyway how cool is the week long Deschambault race ?
