Entry level boot. Not much information. Available with an enduro sole.

Optional enduro sole.

I wonder if these are made by the same people as the old 661 boots. I had a pair of those that lasted for years. Great boot.
The Hurricane boot was a tank, very durable but heavy. I really liked those boots.
Would be really interested to see Neck Brace sales 4-5 years ago vs nowadays…
Look comparable to tech 5s. Wonder what the price tag is?

to that point - wasn't the original (idk if it has retained the same management since inception) group that helmed Atlas Brace, Brady Sheeran & a bunch of other folks from 661 (that group that was sixsixone, Tag, etc.)?
Those 661’s rocked man😂😂
I don't know who started Atlas but it was Valencia Group at the time of 661's strength and Eddie Cole was the principal owner. Valencia put together a powerhouse of brands including; White Bros, Sunline, 661, Alloy MX, and some street/Harley brands. The White Bros catalog was so deep in quality moto hard parts, I sold the shit out of those brands as a rep. When Valencia got bought out by MAG it hit me in the wallet hard. 🤬
Happy to oblige
When a brace brand starts making boots then I think the story tells itself. Isn’t one of Steve Matthes’ Canadian buddies part of Atlas and even said himself not long ago that brace sales are down significantly?
complete side note - THANKS! I was trying to figure out Eddie Cole's name for a while haha If im not mistaken - I think someone on here said that he had his hand in helping develop an evolved version of a HANS-type device. Sounds like a epic dude!
Eddie is top notch. I’m the owner of the Meru Safety, the evolved Hans type brace you’re talking about. Eddie was my first sponsor when I raced motocross and has been a life long mentor and friend. We had developed our brace and were ready to go to market and he helped us set up manufacturing, distribution, and answer every stupid question I could come up with. I’m only 28 years old but having Eddie on board has helped us present as a well seasoned company.
Leatt was smart when they took the risk and expanded. Now they are also a big player in the MTB market.
I worked at a dealership when Leatt was first introducing their new lines of gear and protection outside of neck braces. When our rep brought it in I was a little skeptical because I know MX gear is such a hard market to break into and the colors/designs were not clicking the gears for me. It’s incredible to see how far they’ve come and how well they have done with gear and especially their helmets. I would trust one of those high end Leatt helmets just about as much as any other premium helmet on the market.
These remind me of Jett boots that were a thing about 10 years ago
Hey, wheres the spoiler alert on this post Mav? 🤗
More info coming very soon. Along with many more products over the coming 18 months.
Yes Eddie and other 661 crew are involved, more info here: https://atlasbrace.com/pages/about-us
When Eddie was at 661 they had many versions of neck rolls, and also developed the first chest protector with built in neck brace "The Droid", later changed to the Guardian, but never ended up getting to market. I am sure if you google it you can find photos. We actually have one of the remaining ones at our HQ.
MAG group was the one who bought One Industries, correct? Different ownership groups traded 661 around a few times and I thought maybe Valencia bought them back later on.
When I worked at One, we had Tag Metals and 661 also.

At first glance these don't look much like a Jett boot to me and I still wear them. Have been buying the Brasilian version and they aren't quite the same quality. They also had to make the molds again because their facility burned down, so the heel is a bit larger vs. prior.
Atlas dudes, this right here is an opportunity. I thought about bringing Jett boots in myself, ping me if you want to talk to the guy running it. You could easily make some slight material changes and sell them for $300-400 and they would still be the best boot on the market
$199.99 USD / $249.99 CDN.
