Throttle cable free play problem.

Hello, I got a 2002 Cr250r and I’m having a problem with getting freeplay. I tried putting the tensioner out and in all the way I’m both the carburetor and throttle. The cable is freying by the hammer but I don’t think that will affect it. Any thoughts ?

For the cost of a cable I’d suggest replacing it seeing the its freying.

Your cable is obviously bad. Cant get a bike to work if its got broken stuff on it
