I got some new foam for my kx build.. I have never in my 30+ years of dirt bikes ever replaced seat foam. What is the best way to glue/connect to the seat pan?? Any glue to stay away from? I don’t want it to eat or compromise the foam…

Whatever you use, test the new glue on the old foam.

I am actually in the same boat... Doing a tall foam on my KX build... I was going to ask Guts since they made the foam.

Don’t glue, double face tape.
Interesting ... this has worked well and doesn't lose adhesion in a year(ish)?

I feel like every time I see doublestick tape I see one side and it has "crumblies" on it and the other side is still stuck to the more solid substrate (strongest bond wins = plastic seat base).

I am happy with the penetration/wetting of glue into the pores of the foam to ensure proper and long-term adhesion, but this new trick you bring up ... hmmm, got me thinking ...
