Let's start with the obvious answer, drive to the shop and try out youself... Wink (well not in Covid times)

Question is: Many of the new/modern goggles are fairly big (which is nice, great visibility) but some doesn't fit older helmets due to size, so question becomes without trying out. Most modern helmets, Arai, Fox, Oneal, Airoh etc, do a modern (large) size Scott/Oakley google fit, or is it possible that some doesn't fit?

To be clear, I'm not trying to fit a 2020 goggle in a 10 year old helmet, but rather, if both are from the sort of same age in time.

Is there any helmets with notoriously bad fit for modern goggles?

I have a TLD SE4 that did not work well with Leatt goggles.

Thanks! Exactly!

I find it very odd/strange that there is no more guides from the helmet manufacturers. It would be very little effort to just quickly list which googles the helmet is tried with.

Does Scott Fury goggles work with Fox V3 helmet? Barely, very well? ---> Maybe only way to find out is to go to a store and try, but that is not very e-commerce friendly.

I went through this when I ordered my brother a pair of goggles for his Leatt helmet. I wasn’t sure what would fit the best so just decided to go with the goggle they make. He Seemed to love em.

Unfortunately it's a little more complicated than that. It's really personal and subjective. A certain goggle may fit perfectly fine in a certain helmet. But, depending on how that helmet fits on the user's head, the goggle may be held in a position where it is too high or too low on the user's face. I specifically switched from Scott Prospects to the Scott Fury because the Prospect sat too low on my face and was smushing my nose shut. In theory, the Prospect and Fury are the same basic size (they use same lenses and tearoffs) but something about the Prospect made it sit different on my face.

Helmet/Goggle companies are never going to try to tackle the highly subjective topic of what fits what. Heck, the Goggle companies don't even make an attempt to say which goggles fit certain faces (wide or narrow, big nose, etc) It all seems trial and error.

My helmet is a 6D ATR-2 in size large. I have Oakley Airbrake, Scott Prospect and 100% Armega. The Oakley's and the Scott's fit in my helmet really well but the Armega's not so much. When putting those three goggles side-by-side the Armega looks huge in comparison. For what it's worth, for me, the Airbrake's have no equal.

I wear an Arai and an Airoh Aviator 2.3, and the Leatt 6.5 goggles fit perfect for me. Also 100% goggles fit well too. Scott prospect don't seal well round my nose for some reason
