Fork Conversion on KX450F

9/9/2019 3:13pm
Hey everyone I just bought a 2018 KX450F which as everyone already knows has the air forks in them. I am looking at maybe converting it to a spring setup but I was wondering if I were to do that, which suspension company/brand you guys would recommend. I know Race Tech makes a conversion kit but I am open to all recommendations.
Thanks.

I put the Race Tech spring conversion in my 2016. It's very simple and easy. If you have basic mechanical skills you should be able to do it.

Find a 2009-2012 KX450F fork and you have the same thing and all your stock parts will work. They are the same fork as a SSS fork.
