Hello everyone, I decided to buy this 450, however im not sure about the ticking noise it makes. I red that it might be valves or cam chain, however maybe someone can hear the piston ?

I dont understand your answers ? Does it sound like a dumb question ? I was near my friends 250 crf and it was with no noise compared to this one.

Sounds more like clutch than anything else, but it could also be the cam decompression arm out of adjustment, if the bike is older than 2008.
With it running , pull in the clutch lever and see if the sound changes. If so, it's the clutch basket bearing.

The clutch is new, he showed me old parts. But thanks for your answer, maybe its something with decompression.

Just having a new clutch has nothing to do with the possible origin of noise from the clutch. The parts that can cause that is the basket bushing and the basket bearing.
Again....Does the noise change when you pull in the clutch lever while the engine is running? If it does not , then I would be looking at the auto decompression arm and or the cam chain and cam chain guides, valve clearances, valve guide wear, piston slap or possible play in the upper rod bearing.
The noise seems to be louder on the clutch side in the video. That too is the side of the decompression arm, but not the side for the cam chain or chain guides.

I picked up a sweet 2007 CRF 450R(38 hours)last March and thought the motor sounded like it was ready to grenade(super noisy compared to my Hayabusa).Took it to Travis(good guy)at TBT Racing in Corona(CA)for suspension, new tires, fork seals, valve check, etc. and he said everything's fine and these motors are on the noisy side.Always starts on the 1st kick cold and runs like a raped ape so I don't worry(much)about it anymore.Have been street riding only for 45 years and thought it time to broaden my horizon so picked up the 450,way more fun than the Busa!
