I have a ktm 105sx and when I turn the bars the forks hit the radiators, is there a way to adjust how much they turn or something? Thanks

Do they hit the rads or just the louvers?

Most 80's have a stop cast into the lower clamp to stop the bars from turning that far. It's easy to shear off the bump in a wreck.

When I turn right it just hits the louvers and when it turns left It hits the rad, the cap, and the louvers.

Most bikes also have a stop on the frame at the bottom of the steering head for the stops on the clamps to make contact with. If neither of the stops are broken on either the clamps or frame, they may just be be a bit worn down from lock to lock bar slaps from a crash.

A simple fix is to remove the front end from the bike, and have a good welder build the frame stops up with just a little tack of weld. Do not worry if he adds a little to much. You can then file down the weld to the correct amount of steering travel by fitting the front end back on to check for proper clearance at full steering lock ,side to side.

File slowly. Check progress by fitting the front end.

my 04 KTM125 had bolts for steering stops, a couple hard crashes bent the shit out of them and my forks would hit my radiator just enough to flex it a little. No biggie

Did you loosen the lock nuts first?
