what's a good ebay snipe program

I always use esnipe for the 99% of the time I'm not going to be there the second an auction ends, and it works great.

Because crazies and noobs will bid up against that amount. Sniping allows you to lay back and not allow them to let their emotions blow through your max bid.

Esnipe, I get the auction for much less than I am willing to pay probably 90% of the time. I'll usually manually put in the first bid for the minimum or just above if there aren't any. Most times someone will outbid within a few hours. I rarely even look at it after that until it's over. That person will get a false sense of security if their bid holds for a few days. I bet at least 50% if not more of auction winners are using something. And no, ebay can say all they want but they could care less.

There definately are buyers on EBay who hate sniping and rant about it as if the 11th commandment was thou shalt not snipe.

It's just rational to me. I've seen too many bid patterns where people have lost their minds competing back and forth with someone.

If a snipe wins or loses, the seller still gets more than he would have if the sniper hadn't bid.

isn't is the same thing as putting in your highest bid and that's it? obviously not, how exactly does this work for the buyer?

Im not sure either, but it seems to me that it is a program that only bids when someone else has. You set the maximum for it so it wont go over that and has the chance to stay under. Its different then just putting in a maximum highest bid because if you do that early on it will just go up.

If you place a standard ebay bid with a max amount, it will show that you bid in the next increment. Someone else bids and you increase the next amount. This continues until your max has been reached. It's just the same as you sitting on the computer and rebidding every time someone else does. Esnipe holds your max amount and doesn't bid until the last remaining seconds and places the bid. It doesn't allow anyone to bid against you unless they also were using a snipe program. Plus it keeps you from falling asleep on your keyboard at 2:30am and missing your auction

What does esnipe charge a month. I can't find a price on the site.

It only charges when you win an auction. One percent of sale price. When you sign up I think you get some free bid points. Other than that you purchase bid points. Minimal amount, and worth it. I win all kinds of stuff while I'm away from the computer. I also lose quite a bit but it saves me from going all goofy and bidding 4 grand for a set of Fox Forks like some other goofy bastard out there!

I miss way to many auction ends I wonder why people have their auctions end at 2 am. I am gonna sign up now.

Best thing about it is it keeps anyone from knowing you are a bidder. Ebay has changed lately to conceal the identity of bidders, not sure if that is just on certain auctions or all of them. There are several ebay usernames that come up often that I recognize and that is enough of a red flag for me to not consider the auction. Some people pay really stupid money for stuff.

I have bid with esnipe and completely forgotten about it until I get an email saying I won. Prior to using it there have been times in the past where I would get outbid in the last seconds and send in an extra bid for more than I was originally going to spend. I've never bid extra that I really regretted but I would have been just fine losing with my original bid. If I'm not even watching it there's no decision. I either get it for what I'm willing to pay(or less), or someone else gets it for more than I was willing to pay. The perfect system.

problem is, if I use that, I'll end up buying too much shit.

You get a few free snipes to test it out. after that you only pay for usage.

It works well. If you tell it your max bid, it'll hang back till the last second. That way if nobody bids on it the price wont creep up the way it would if you let ebay bid for you.
