where i have finally received my orders to report to "A" school to become a AST.

i should be moving down to L.A. in the next two months. I will be there for 4 to 6 months then i will be going to Elizabeth City NC for 4 months to get my training done.

just thought i would pass along the good news.

EC has a couple tracks now...Morgan's Corner is right across 17 from ECMX....

Congratulations kid!!!!

Just be careful when you come up to VA Beach to blow off steam and chase poon...cops here love the military..Ermm

one - have a girlfriend

two - most of my trips to blow off steam will be to the outer banks of NC

but thanks for the tip.

alot of the guys that go to BTM school in virgina say the same thing about the cops though

Hatteras is awesome "if" there's surf but it's desolate. Plus it looks like you'll be here in the winter. Not much else to do down there unless you have 2,500 - 10,000/wk to drop on renting a house. Trust me, you'll probably come up here plenty. Let me know when you're in EC and I'll give the local scoop on what's going on.

im praying for a huge hurricane swell to come while i am there. From the looks of it i will be in EC in about 10 months to a year. hopefully sooner but who knows.

You will need a hurricane to have any decent surf in NC.

Take up kite boarding. That's how I stay sane in OK.

NoCalina, as the locals call it, is a great place but only around the bases like New River and Lejeune. When you leave base, it goes like this (in no particular order):

pawn shop

used car dealership

liquor store

tattoo parlor

strip club

pawn shop

used car dealership

liquor store

tattoo parlor

strip club

pawn shop

used car dealership

liquor store

tattoo parlor

strip club

etc. etc. etc.

It's like that for miles and miles. Pure heaven for young, dumb, and full-of-cum military guys.

one of the guys that i am stationed with here said that in the winter it gets really good on the outer banks. which is where i will be if i go surf.
