Who needs an internet dating service when there are so many free options. You have myspace, facebook and IM programs like AIM and Yahoo Messenger. Work those with your blackberry and you have a deadly combination. Meet them in person and throw them in your blackberry and move them to your facebook, myspace and chat on aim if they check out cool. Meet them in facebook myspace and move them to your blackberry. Keep the scronk buddies, sure things and straight hookers in the blackberry. Makes it easier to keep the perception of more respectable girls on your pages. Also if you are trying to fade them out from your blackberry, just start texting them from the AIM program. That way it is hard for them to get ahold of you because AIM sucks for offline messages. You will pull more doing the above then you ever would with a dating site. I try and keep it to a min. and still end up with a hand full of options most weekends. Mainly because I like to keep repeats around. I have a buddy that went off the deep end last month. He was getting out of hand and it was getting old. So we bet him that he couldn't do 7 different girls in 7 days in a row. Damn if he didn't just about win it. The bet was made on a Friday night. He had his schedual full by Sunday evening and started on Monday. He went Mon - Fri and said the hell with it on Saturday. It was a good thing though. He seen how pathetic he was being and has since slowed down to a reasonable amount. Sad thing is that he was able to do it and it wasn't that difficult and only 2 of the girls were prior friends.

Here's the thing about Internet dating- in the old days, you were introduced to someone, or maybe you met them in the local bar. If that person has serious issues, someone will pull you aside and say "watch out." Without that context, it's possible to be pulled into a situation that doesn't end well. So I have concluded that meeting strangers that way doesn't always lead to good outcomes. Let's just say I have some experience with this.
