Are we sure they're not going to release the film at all or are they just postponing the airing? Sony's comments are vague so it makes me think that they are being considerate to the theaters. I read that Christmas is their busiest time of the season.
It makes me furious to know that some spineless terrorist with a keyboard is suppressing our rights. This is one instance where the government should have stepped up a lot bigger. But our government allowed our people to be scared into hiding under threats and did nothing about it.
I somewhat understand the theater's position. Christmas is one of their busiest days out of the year. If they were just delaying airing the movie, I could understand the logic in not jeopardizing their revenue on that day. Regardless of circumstance, there would be a number of people not going to the movie "just in case".
Personally, I don't fear these kinds of things. Especially from a little bitch like Kim Dong Un. I love it when we do things that they condemn and I was going to go see this movie just to spite that little fucker.
It might be amusing to poke a little fun at Kim Jong-un but I wonder how you guys would react if North Korea or Russia produced a film about assassinating the current American president? I'd hazard a guess most of you would propose something more drastic than a cyber attack.

Safe to say that 54% of Americans would watch the movie. And 99% of Americans wouldn't propose anything be done about it.
But Im still certain that most of you guys would be fucking apoplectic with rage, no matter who the president was at the time.
And we've already made movies in our own country that depict acts far worse than killing the president that nobody seems to fuss about (not to mention the movies that actually do depict the president dying).
"We" wouldn't get upset. A few crazy lunatics would. And I can guarantee you that our president's bag of fucks would still be completely full, unlike that little shit that emptied his out over the first movie depicting him a negative fashion.
Just to be clear Im far from being some sort of moral activist, I do realise there's a place for satirical comedy. I thought Team America was hilarious, but throwing Kim Jong-il over a balcony wasn't really the sole plot of the film.
And after all of the shit he talks on America and South Korea, he wants us to censor what we're saying? And he's getting away with it. Agreed with Void, it's a spineless and weak move on Sony's part.
My best guess is that the hackers have gotten some information that Sony DOES NOT want to be released. . .
