Sky Diving

I have been doing it in the military for 26 years, both static line and freefall. Nothing else like it.. It is one of the few things I like better than racing MX. I jumped last month when I was at Bragg, hoping to get another one in when I go back next month. I never got into doing it civilian wise, no need to buy my own rig and pay to do it, when I can use equipment made by the lowest bidder and get paid to do it.

Now once I finally retire than maybe I will get my own rig and start paying to do it.

My favorite jumps are night jumps (closing your eyes don't count) There is nothing more peacful than being in freefall in the middle of the night.

I've done the tandem. It was a blast. It was raining a little when we jumped...I don't recommend that!!!

That was a year ago...about 5 months ago the plane that we jumped from crashed and killed 2...

It was fun.

i went parasailing ..not so risky

It is an ultimate thrill.

Buddy of mine gave me a ration of shit for doing it tandem. He kept saying if he was going to have somebody strapped to his back he wanted it to be somebody he was attracted to.

I told him that since the guy had the parachute I was attracted to him. In fact, as we went out the door I would have kissed him full on the lips if neccessary.

I ain't gay, but I am pragmatic.

I did a tandem.

One of the funnest things I've ever done.

I agree about the only scary part being stepping out the door.
