Anyone been to Paris in October?

Too cold, wet?

Know of any good deals on airfare or accommodations?

"Non-touristy" places to go? (My wife's already been, and I'm not interested in seeing the Mona Lisa)

Thanks!

I sent my sister an email. She's been living a couple hours from Paris for the past 3 years (husband works for Michelin)...here's what she said:

October is a great time to go. There are lots of options - depends on the budgetSmile I have stayed all around Paris and would highly recommend finding accommodations in the 5th or 6th arrondissement (aka Latin Quarter). It is definitely the most romantic. Also check out the advice on tripadvison.com Some people I know have gotten amazing deals on Priceline.com putting in 4 star hotel and taking their chances - but stars do not mean quality. A 4 star may have a pool and a spa but be terrible and a 2 star may be a real gem (but no pool).

It's just a link to the torrent file, you need to use a torrent software type of program to download it.

We're playin' in a tent
It's payin the rent
If you pooch a civilian,
It's a major event
In France
Way down in France
Way on down
Way on down
In France

The girls is all salty
The boys is all sweet
The food ain't too shabby,
An' they piss in the street
In France
Way down in France
Way on down
Way on down
In France

They got diseases
Like you never seen
Got a mystery blow-job
Turn your peter green
In France
Way down in France
Way on down
Way on down
In France

They got some coffee
Eatin' right through the cup,
An' when they go ka-ka
They make you stand up
In France
Way down in France
Way on down
Way on down
In France

If you're not careful,
It'll stick to your cheeks
You'll smell like a native
For a couple of weeks
In France
Way down in France
Way on down
Way on down
In France

We cannot wait
Till we go back
It gets so exciting
When the poodles 'react'
In France
Way down in France
Way on down
Way on down
In France
Never try to get yo' peter sucked

Last time I went to Europe I flew AirFrance and got (by far) the best deal on my trip. If you go to their website and just put in any date, it will take you to the rates charges for all dates in that month. You can pick your trip by cost on both the flight to and from on any date within that month. For instance, I left on the 6th and it was $308.00 one way. If I would have left on the 8th it was $900 something, one way. I picked a $308 to and from and my trip came to right around $700.00 total. www.airfrance.com

I was there in September for our Honeymoon and the weather was perfect. We rented an apartment from vrbo.com and had a blast living in the middle of actual Parisians compared to staying in a hotel around other tourists.

A bunch of us (Engine-ice Dave, Kardy, Jacob Saylor, Ricky Renner, Willy Browning, Kyle

and others) were there in NOVEMBER a couple years back. On our way to

Moscow....

It was pleasant, comfortable, fun and we loved it...think it was LES HALLES where

we got off the train and partied down...touristey -downtowney area.

Loved Paris, people were fairly cool, the beer cold and the fries greasy.

Use the Metro, smoking hot chicks with brief moustaches , hairy arms and legs

and pouty lips. Oui , oui messieu !
