Is anyone here into over landing? I want to start taking it more serious. Slowly adding to my truck.

I was working on this a while back, when I was in Oregon. I have sold it since moving to Mississippi. There is not much camping that I enjoy out here.

This is my Wife's daily.

I bought the 60 for $4k 5 years ago and put about $4k into it before I sold it. We bought the 100/LX470 for $8k and put $4k into it to get it where it's at. After owning both, I would take the 100/LX470 all day long. Trail Tailor has helped me get most of my lift parts and roof racks.

Here's more of the 60. The front shackles were a band-aid until I could save up for new springs. I never got to those before I sold it.

We gotten soft with age and are in a Lance overhead camper on a 4wd truck now. I'd say we "dirt road" more than "off road" in it, but does have a toilet, hot shower and fridge so there's that.
This was my Baja set up back in the late 70's- early 80's. it's fun to get off the beaten track a bit, cool set up prmeirsportsoutlet. And the old yota is awesome as well !

Here's my rig, it's a 2001 f350 with a 7.3 diesel. And my newly purchased 4wheel camper. Haven't had much time to use it a whole lot but hoping to do some long trips this summer.

Is that camper good to go in the winter?? Was looking at one of those to take a trip out west and hit some ski area parking lots.

That’s the ultimate setup for Baja. So jealous!

It works good in cold weather, it is a soft side so there's not a ton of insulation. But ibgot the cold weather pack and it has a heater so you stay nice and warm. I've talked to a few people who have used them in the snow with no issues. I got a hitch carrier for the bike for long solo trips and also a cargo trailer for when the lady comes and we need more room for motorcycle gear. So far I'm really happy with can't wait to get out more and explore.

I dont do it all but I really like the idea . I've thought about set ups to hunt state land from but the colder months make me rethink the whole idea and just get an older awd safari .
