West, whose Twitter announcements have made headlines multiple times in recent days, tweeted, "I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt... Please pray we overcome... This is my true heart..."

He could always try slashing his pricing of his apparel to a reasonable amount rather than trying to compete with the Michael Kors, Versace and Gucci brands. . . Obviously he's not hitting that target demographic. On the radio, they were saying he's down $30M of it in his women's fashion and around $5 in mens. . . That's a lot of expense and nobody buying your crap. . . One of two reasons, price, and/or it's crap.

"celebritynetworth.com says he's worth $145 million. The same website says he's claiming he owes $53 million.
