Ditto. I would have never bought the thing for myself, but my wife got me one for Christmas...now I can't live without it.

I just had to send my iPhone 3G back. It was getting "dust" behind the screen. It was VERY annoying. They sent me a brand new one and I returned my old one...

The problem is...they don't really have a fix for it yet. Just "be careful"...

If you haven't had trouble yet, you might not, but if you google it, there are MANY that are having issues.

I do a lot of outside work, so I just throw my phone in my pocket....I wish there was a case that was "sealed", instead of having the bottom be open.

To me the touch is a new generation palm pilot. I don't need anything else in my pockets and when one item can do the duties of two, it is a no brainer for me.

I have had my original iphone and my new 3g replaced b/c of bubbles under the screen. Apple is the best company I have ever dealt with in regards to warranty work. Walk in, sign in and leave 10-15 minutes later with a shiny new one!!! LOL
