The Stradman I think.
Stradman is a total kook! This guy is not as annoying, Shmee150 or something like that, think he is a Brit? almost 500million views on his channel. Fucking ridiculous. Check out his car collection...sheesh!

Ya this is him https://www.youtube.com/user/Shmee150/

Hamilton shines on final day of testing. Sick

Look at that McLaren though!

Good to see Torro Rosso get good mileage out of the Honda, that surprised me.

**Running resumes in Spain next Tuesday with the second and final pre-season test, which again takes place over four days in Barcelona.

Amazing the opportunities one can have thanks to YouTube. It's fair to say that TV/PC entertainment isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Now how to get in on that gravy train lol.

The McLaren chassis is a good one. It has been the whole time the Honda engine was in it. It doesn’t surprise me that you put a Renault power unit in it and it is capable of better. Testing times can be so inaccurate though. The true test comes in melbourne

It’s just nice to see the McLaren cover the miles for once! Although as you say the Honda engine seems to have done that too!

Hamilton’s lap has been deleted because he skipped the chicane. So McLaren are fastest

Should be and * next to the McLaren time as they were the on the new hyper soft tire, which is up to 1.5sec faster than any other tire out there. I think the Merc did it on Mediums which is scary. Ferrari were on just soft.

So im pretty sure now we have hyper soft / super soft / soft / medium / hard and super hard.

..as you said, these times are fairly meaningless, but mileage really counts.

Hopefully its warmer at next weeks test.

Good news!! Cool

~edit~ Nope. It was his first attempt at a fast last that was deleted, this one is legit.

Day 1 of the final test, Ferrari quickest (and on Medium tires) They and Merc racked up some serious miles. Merc split the day between Bottas and Hammy where Seb was in his Ferrari all day. Its looking promising for a dogfight!

Ricciardo beats unofficial track record as lap times tumble on day six

Daniel Ricciardo lowered the unofficial track record for the Circuit de Catalunya as all bar one of the teams set their quickest time of pre-season testing so far on Wednesday.

The Red Bull driver lapped the 4.6 kilometre track in 1’18.047, almost three-tenths of a second inside the previous testing record set by Felipe Massa while testing for Ferrari in 2008.

Ricciardo use the hyper-soft tyres to establish a new benchmark time shortly after noon. A short while before Lewis Hamilton used the same rubber to set his best time of the day in the Mercedes.

Valtteri Bottas took over the W09 in the afternoon as Mercedes completed another extensive day of running. However they were almost matched by Red Bull and outstripped by Renault, the latter covering 190 laps with their RS18.

Ferrari had a slight disruption to their day. Kimi Raikkonen was scheduled to test for them but Sebastian Vettel started the day in the car before handing over to his team mate later.

Other teams had bigger problems. McLaren spent most of the day in the garage after further stoppages for Fernando Alonso led to a fresh power unit being fitted. McLaren was the only team not to improve their best time of the test, though Alonso got within two-thousandths of a second of it.

Brendon Hartley caused another red flag in his Toro Rosso but returned to the track to set the fifth-quickest time shortly before the end of the session, displacing Alonso by a few hundredths. Romain Grosjean’s Haas was also not seen for several hours following an oil leak.

The test was extended after Charles Leclerc spun at turn 12, bringing out the red flags with five minutes to go. The cars were allowed back on the track for a final run to conduct practice starts.

I am really liking these test sessions, we have seen Ferrari, Merc and now RB top the time sheets. Although these lap times are fairly meaningless come Australia (diff fuel loads, tires, plan etc etc) its good to see some competition at the top.

I wonder what the tire rules are this year? have they changed? Im pretty sure they can now choose more than two compounds, but i could be wrong.

^^^ LOL I posted a Ferrari sandal on page 4 with Ferrari's new car. I don't know how one comes up with the thought of "holy shit, these new cars look exactly like thong sandals" but pretty sure he wasn't sober lol.

Atleast the halo was good for some laughs.

Raikkonen: “If we want to go faster we can”

Kimi Raikkonen indicated Ferrari have more performance in hand after heading the final day of pre-season testing.

Team mate Sebastian Vettel set the fastest overall time of testing on Thursday with a lap of 1’17.182, which Raikkonen got within four-hundredths of a second of on his last day in the car.

But Raikkonen said it doesn’t represent the ultimate performance of the SF71-H. Asked if he expects to be in contention for pole position in Melbourne he said: “We’ll see in two weeks.”

Alonso must be pretty happy to finally be back in a car that can compete towards/upfront.

What's the story with Hamilton?
