Went to an NHRA national a few years ago. Team Force had ... between the hospitality, parts, tshirt and actual car haulers the count was 14 semi rigs. I shit you not.

This sounds interesting:

Formula 1 to launch F1 TV, a live Grand Prix subscription service

Formula 1, the pinnacle of motor sport, is set to launch early in the 2018 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season F1 TV, an innovative way for fans to enhance and enjoy their experience of Grand Prix racing.

F1 TV is Formula 1’s over the top (OTT) platform and marks F1’s biggest investment in its digital transformation to date.

Formula 1 fans will get commercial-free live streams of each race with multi language commentary. In addition, the service will provide exclusive access to all 20 driver on-board cameras throughout every race session. F1 TV Pro will have unique feeds not available on any other platform with the capability of multi-level personalisation. Read more HERE

I think this was a reason NBCSN did not keep F1. It does look interesting

No price for a season pass yet but $8-$12 a month is really nothing for all you get to see. You get to watch all practices, qualifying and races, press conferences and pre and post-race interviews. On top of that you also get to watch the FIA Formula 2 Championship, GP3 Series and Porsche Supercup, among others and all live.

The on-board camera for all 20 drivers is great. You get to see all the battles you want. Boring upfront? No problem there's a battle for the last scoring point.

Robert Kubica is one hell of a story of clawing back to his current position in F1 as a development driver. When you know what the guy went through almost losing his arm and the vast amount of broken bones and rehab he endured, he is one tough SOB in my book.,

^^^ Looks like there's a lot of people that don't have good taste or can't read and mistook the poll for ugliest car.

Hard to vote. I like a lot of them.

Why can't they drive there? They drive all over Europe with those trucks.

In answer to the questions about location and logistics. The most likely answer for the location is the timeline. Teams are literally building the cars and doing shakedown the week (and even days) before the first test so it has to be somewhere easy to get to from the base of most teams (most are in the UK). So, they send the trucks out as last minute as they can to get there with as much as they can get on them when they leave. The other stuff (like the car/parts of the car) often stay at the factory and are flown out to meet the trucks to allow the teams even more time to build.

If it's the same guy I'm thinking he's annoying as fuck and can't stand him. Drives a purple? Lamborhini Gallardo and lives in Utah.

The Stradman I think.
