The announcers jinxed him. Said at the start that he hasn't crashed since they can remember. Two brilliant rides ending in the gravel. That second one looked like the bike missed him by about 5 feet and I think that could have been fatal.
How about Sufagalus? save in the first race? Ive never seen anyone go that fast in the grass without going down.
Dont forget next week is Daytuna. Starts Thursday on Speed.

Ha! Looks very similar to mine, and the wife is so thrilled.
Anybody know why they had him so far back on the grid?

Not only do we have Daytona starting on Thursday but we have the season opener of MGP at Qatar this weekend.
That grid crash of his a few years ago was gnarly.
Yes that was the reason he qualified so poorly. That get off in the second race was at about 150 mph. Scary as hell. They're going to put more weight on the Ducatis very soon. Corser & the Yamahas had a lousy weekend too. Haga couldn't do anything & Corser was lucky to get on the podium in the first race. Still some of the best racing around. At any given time there was 5 or 6 guys going for it. I love WSB. Hope MotoGP is as good.

Yep he's supposed to be running the superstock race. It'll be on Speed Channel Thursday. I watched him win the 200 for yamaha. Even got to meet him and drink a beer with him outside his motorhome after the race. Now that's down to earth.
