What's your favorite? I currently have Bridgeston Battlax BT021s on my bike and have right at 9,000 miles on them (yes they are due). I have some Michelin Pilot Powers on backorder. I was looking for something a little more sticky in the corner even though I know they'll only last less than half the miles I have on my BT021s. I do need to get them changed soon though so if these don't come off back order I need to look at something else.

Just put a Power Pure on the rear of my trusty VTR and went on my favourite ride.

Not bad, as good as my M3's. Plenty of grip when leaning in, and under acceleration out of corners any sliding was controlled and no skipping.

Pirelli Diablo Supercorsas have been good to me over the years. I'd rate them as good or better than the Pilot Powers.

Like any super grippy tire they don't last very long, but I'm pretty sure they're a dual compound so you should get some decent life out of them.

Well, even though I have a set of Pilot Power tires on backorder I couldn't wait and got a set of them from another local dealer who had them in stock. I'll get them mounted tomorrow. Guess I'll have to burn through two sets of them before trying something else. Or I could keep a set on the shelf.

On my R6 I switched from Bridgestone to Dunlop, and the Sportmax GP-A was incredible. Instantly cut a few seconds off my lap times. Next best thing to running slicks, which I didn't want to put on and make it tough to ride on the street (although I never really did much street riding). Given my experience with the GP-A on the track, I would guess that the Dunlop Q2 is a great tire for on the street.

You should never go fast enough on the street to have to worry about the tire Tongue

If you are riding on the track with an R6, I always liked the soft Pirelli Diablos. Cool

Seriously a race tire is worse for the street....it is made to operate at a different temperature. Diablo Corsas are a race tire, even though they have some "tread." It really isn't too bad, depending on how you ride on the street, but if it rains, you don't want to have a supersport tire on your bike.

Stick with the pilots for street.

I'm on the road now and have about 75 miles on them. I guess it's about time to find some twisties.

325 miles later and they seem to be holding up well. The last 40 miles were most awesome twisties.

I know I'll get the geezer comments Angry but on my Gold Wing I'm lovin' the Dunlop E3s.

Yea I was wondering if anyone had tried the the Q2 as I have Metzler M3's on my 12R and thought that maybe the Q2's profile might make this bike actually want to turn instead of the one arm push up it is now.
