I'm not a Coldplay or Metallica fan, but I think the're real bands that put effort and heart into their music. They don't appear to simply churn out product.

I am a big fan of Radiohead, and while not for everyone, I don't see how any music lover couldn't at least recognize their inventiveness.

As far as being overhyped- where? how? I subscribe to Rolling Stone and Spin and certainly don't think they're overrun with articles about these particular three groups.
