After reading the "new layout at Southwick" post, I saw a post on Instagram from a carting track I follow. It got me thinking that it would be pretty cool if track operators could figure out a way to change the tracks up like the cart tracks do. For instance:

It seems most tracks I ride now would have more than a few ways to string together a different turn section or whoop section.

Thoughts?

The only track worth going to in Houston is 3 Palms and they change it up regularly. I assume any track owner with a decent facility also does the same?

They might change a jump here or there, but some have been the same for years....

Some people have good tracks and screw it up with changes. Improvement is a good thing, but change just for the sake of change is not.

The track I used to race on Oahu did that -- the start and top section was the same, but there is a huge valley with a lot of different options they switched up for ever race. That was nice... because it was the only track on the island!!

I love that place. I once did a race there where they combined 3 of their tracks. I think lap times were like 5 or 6 minutes. Brutal fun!
