You left out a little of Pastrana too. The young man has things going his way for sure right now.

Getting a little ahead of yourself. Mike Alessi had it all on the amateur circuit and look how that has turned out.

AC was very fast. Tow holeshots and in Moto 1 he was gone. Cooper Webb, who was on a KTM, in Moto 2 was close. AC did not gap him. The Supermini Class was one of the best to watch. The agression the top two rode with was very impressive.

but mike was semi retarded at that age with whiskey throttle and wearing a gimp mask getting whipped by cycle news tony. this kid has had the key to every factory race shop on his own since 10 years old and can actually spell "cat" even if you spot him the c and t!!! and even has whiskey throttle!! evelution!!!!!!

The bigger question? is Adam going to grow? he is already 15 or 16yrs old, and he probably only weights a pocket full of quarters over 100lbs!!

Hopefully he is just a "late bloomer" Cool

Bobby Moore had the same problem, he is a few years older than me, and when we hung out as kids, i was about 11 or 12 and we looked the same age, or him even younger! IIRC he even had to do some sorta hormone supplement to help him grow?

bobby moore was small but held his own against the single greatest crop of mini riders in history...bader meneh, kyle lewis, eddie hicks, larry brooks, larry ward, willie surratt, scott brown, mike healey, john kitch....it was endless then. never been a thicker crop of talent. in that day i was at the top of canada in that class but that was worlds away. when mxa hit my mailbox with brooks doing a nose wheelie on his r 80 on the cover, and inside healey was ripping that underpowered 83 cr 80 with his white sinisalo gear in full color.....it was just soooooo trick!!! what a mini class that was!

According to a bio from DC shoes he will be 15 this week (10/20/1996).

I was thinking as I watched last night, some of these 250 guys have a small window before he is on the scene. There are others that didn't pan out like Alessi, but there are only a few that were locked down and ear-marked for Mitch at this age. RC, RV, anyone else? Mitch isn't in the business of taking risks when it comes to these young guys, and looking at his lap times on a freaking supermini last night? Watch out!

Bobby Moore had to sit on a pillow to drive when he was 17. Ask him about it. In high school he used to drive a lowered Nissan mini truck and crank Christmas music while pulling into the parking lot in high school. He was super fast but Mouse McCoy used to eat him alive even after Mouse quit racing.

AC is the real deal...i dont think his parents are psycho like Tony, and if any of you pay attention to him when he interviews, he truly wants to practice and train to be the best.

You are right AC is the real deal.. I've met his parents and they are amazing people.. the exact opposite of Tony Alessi. They let Kawasaki/Pro Circuit take care of the kid.

Adam tweeted yesterday, they were on their way to the track when they drove by a soccer field. His dad said..."that's what you should be doing". Not sure that a kid who competes in the most exciting sport in the world would fit in wall in the most bloody boring sport in the world. (OK, that would be lawn bowling, but soccer is a close second)

Amateur careers mean nothing. Sometimes it's better to be 2nd best. Example: Villopoto and Alessi. Winning big all the time actually might be the worst thing for a kid.
