No need to go faster i guess... 23 guys at a gate for 40bikes, its bot that Bad of a gatepick.
Then he rides around a bit, smokes some locals and gets a top15 gatepick for the races...
In theory...

He just needs to start the quali race today to be "in" for tomorrow.

Tomorrow, he'll have to beat 3 guys and more to start scoring points in the motos.

But you're right, he needs more than a few points and there are 16 "regular" GP riders out there.

Not saying he did'nt race well and can't go 1-1 just that there's a bit of racing going down before we know anything.

He never went 1-1, not with good starts, not with the best gate...

its got some tension,

herlings not giving away any indication of how fast he can go,till the race id say

with only 23 on the line the gate pick is less important

is tixer gonna lay it on the line or play it a bit safe first moto?

cat and mouse stuff

X2!

Tomorrow he will hang it all out. The movies and talk from this week practice looked oke. Good enough to beat the local boys and now he is way slower, cruizing around and is not jumping at all. This week he jumped that big table.

This makes it even more excited for tomorrow!!

Herlings made 2 slow laps in qualifying race and stopped.

Tixier leading half way through.

Tixier got nothing to lose, the title were never his to win in the first place. He can hang it out and risk everything, no more races, no mxdn and a lot of time to heal up before next season. Pin it to win it.

Everyone attending qualifying race qualifies. Just for gate picks since there's not enough riders.

Anstie did just 4 laps. Looks like GB did the right pick for mxdn.

4sec lap time diff from 1st to 15th, then 4sec from 15th to 16th. LOL.

I think he is saving energy for tomorrow. The real competition will be around the 12-13 position.Even when he is starting last ,he can race to theses positions and secure his championship.

having watched Jeffrey for pretty much all his career, u all need to understand the kids psyche...YES he is injured, YES he will still be in pain, YES he looks to have struggled all day....but believe me when I say this....its all part of a big game and part of the plan. he loves to keep people guessing, he loves the attention whether it be good attention or bad attention. he will come out swinging in tomorrows first moto, he will have tixier thinking all weekend. believe me if u saw the kid riding on instagram this week u will know that his pace is there for at least a just enough points finish to take the title. JH84 IS GAME PLAYER...HE IS PLAYING US haha.

So what's real and what's fake? How do you know that what was put on instagram is real. Maybe he put it out there to further play on Tixier's psyche. I thought, based on the IG posts, that by now we would have seen a solid lap from Herlings. And what about the doctor releasing him? Did a Dr. really say he was ready for competition or was that fabricated by the team to keep everybody guessing? Should be interesting tomorrow.

If I am Tixier, I am parking Herlings. This is for a title.

I think Herlings is taking a big risk (career rise) by racing.

any of you guys ever think he's messing with his competition, playing it safe, saving himself...any or all the above? Why push it or risk anything in practice?

But of course.

JH simply relaxing, as would any racer with half a brain in his state.

Tidxier WONT/CANT (regardless of quali position) score 23 more than JH any day

Laughable concept

There isn't even enough regulars in each class to fill a gate if they all lined up together...
You won't know what Herlings has until the 1st moto tomorrow.
In watching the one lap with Gajser I have one question....Is that manure on the track?

We will all find out tomorrow...but all I know is that this makes a totally pointless final round trip to mexico far better than first thought when seeing the fixture put on the calendar at the beginning of the year. and makes it far better than herlings having already won the title 3 or 4 rounds ago. it all adds to the fun of the sport we all love so much...drama, confusion, game playing. let the battle commence. personally I cant wait!

Herlings just left the paddock to go to the hospital to check his painful leg ...
