This is one clean bike rebuild. The seller even found all the original warning and information stickers. Aside from the polished forks and swingarm the thing looks like it just came off the floor.

Wasn't there an "A" model, or a 78-'1/2 that had the plastic tank? My cousin had a 78' 125 and I could sweat that it had a plastic tank.

Nope, that's the C model, 78, and it was plastic. I know. I had one, and a 125 also.

The 1977 RM250B was aluminum. This is a 1978 RM250C which had a plastic tank. I had both.

Yep, I remember now. They called it (one with plastic tank) the RM250C2. I was working at a Suzuki dealer then and forgot about that. Many motos ago......... " title="Smile">
