I believe it's retired till 2011.....4 years after he retired in 07 Then he could come back for a one time national, whoop the entire field and keep it for another year Cool

They should sell the numbers to the teams, they want everything else to be NASCAR, why not give Kaw #'s 2, 3, 4, Yam gets 5, 6, 7 Etc....



I believe RC gets a "gimmie", where he does not have to score points this year to carry to 09, but if no points in 09, the big #4 goes on the block in 2010.

I would actually like to see RC, JS, and RV race all by themselves at Red Bud. 12 min on a 125, 12 min on a 250F and 12 min on a 450F. The stopping in the pits and changing out bikes would be part of the race. Whoever gets there first kind of thing. That would be a sweet race.

James would dominate th 125's. RC or James would win the 250f and RC would win the 450.

I dont think we will see anyone run that number for a long time, unless they change how the numbering systems works. There is alot of history, pressure and respect for that number. I know if it was me I would pass on it, that would be alot of added pressure on your shoulders to put that number back where it belongs.
