He's doing as good as RC was his rookie season. One bad race when he was sick and people wanna throw him in the gutter. Amazing.
RV will probably win the Motocross Championship.

1. Has Chad Reed EVER won a supercross championship when either Carmichael or Stewart was NOT injured? NO he has NOT.
2. Has Chad Reed EVER won an outdoor National Championship? NO he has NOT.
3. Has Chad Reed EVER won a single Motocross des Nations individual championship? NO he has NOT.
For you-a NON RACER--to make the claim that you "just don't think he (Villopoto) is that good" shouts out only that YOU JUST DON"T THINK. YOU ONLY HATE.
In 2007, Villopoto STOMPED Chad Reed AND THE REST OF THE WHOSE WORLD while on a SMALLER bike. I WAS THERE AND I WATCHED IT HAPPEN. WERE YOU? In 2008 he stomped Reed AND THE REST OF THE WORLD again. Reed has faired so poorly outdoors that he has QUIT. In 2007 at Washougal, I watched Villopoto ride 4 SECONDS per lap faster than Ben Townely. 4 SECONDS. Count out 4 seconds. That was PER LAP.
Right this very second, after 9 races of his first season on 450s, RV's first season compares VERY closely to Ricky Carmichael's first season. The same Ricky Carmichael who perferred the OUTDOORS (like RV) and went on the be the greatests rider in HISTORY. BETTER than Jeremey McGrath, BETTER than Bob Hannah, BETTER than James Stewart.
So why don't you shut your non-racing ignorant stinking RV hating mouth about how he's just "not that good"? He has ALREADY done things Reed has NEVER done and NEVER will. And that goes for your other favorite, Jason "I'm sick this week so that's why I rode practice but not the main" Lawrence.
dint you hear? thats what all
these guys are doing now.

I guess we'll see this summer, won't we?
7 of 9 is a championship winning percentage of .778. Chad Reed has won 2 of 12 pro championships he has competed in. That is a winning percentage of .167.
There are only so many RC's, MC's, and Stewarts. Although RV's done great in the Lites, it's the big bores where guys solidify their names in history as the greats. RV isn't rocking the world in the big bores in SX. The jury's still out in MX, too.
