Outta control vs trying too hard, but still in control.

IMO riding over your head is going faster than your capabilities and your suspension. A bound and determined (C) rider trying to hang with an (A) rider on a good rough practice track, his fear of the speed will usually cause him to back of after a half lap or less,but if he doesn`t when he crashes (usually a good one) he was riding over his head.
Over riding the track is more a corner thing,coming into a corner to fast and slaming into a berm or rut so hard you bottom out the suspension and loose all your forward momentum plus loose all your exit speed because you almost came to a stop in the corner, then because the rider you are chasing has pulled you more you hit the next corner harder trying to make up the time when in reality you are just loosing more every corner. Plus this drains your energy fast and after a few laps you are done.
I wonder if the bullrider in void mains photo is going to wish he had took up motocross like his dad wanted him to after Lil` yellow jacket gives him a permanent reverse camel toe?

Or going faster than you are capable vs going faster than the track is capable

You miss your lines when you over ride a track, sometimes you have to slow down to go fast.

Over Riding the Track is only used by James Stewart fans when he falls.
Everyone else just rides over thier head.
