Yes... by all means... be proud of the fact that you can beat a guy who crashed, chased you down and passed you, and crashed again. And then almost caught you again.

Stewart ran Reed down from 6 seconds back in 10 laps. When Reed rides back to the truck, he'll know he got his lucky win for the year tonight and it's all over now.

Its along series....why dont you guys quit hating on the riders. He won because he's champion, he has been on his tail every race like a true champion playing things out best he can positioning himself for any mistake. If JBS was second every race her would have quit the series by now...and there's still time for him to do that yet. Bring on Daytona.

My belief is that the reason Stewart ran Reed down was because he was riding over his head. When he does that he is extremely fast, but it normally leads to a crash. That is why he has always been prone to crash when he comes under pressure from another rider.

If the tables were reversed and Reed ran Stewart down from 6 seconds back, you'd be declaring him King of the Earth.

Reed seemed tighten up in the middle and was loosing about .5 sec. a lap he had one 51sec maybe a lapper and James got aroung him but THEN Reed dropped back into the 49's and matched his times and didn't let him go.

I Think it was a well derserved win and now he's got the monkey off his back, let's hope for more rides like that.

this whole "straight up" business is funny. if stewart were taken out... or had a mechanical then it would be not straight up imo. but they were stewarts mistakes that put him down. that makes it straight up bc stewart went slower then reed in the 20 laps. get it? 20 lap race... not one lap. and i would say the same thing if roles were reversed.

How could it be straight up? James got a bad start.

There's no way Reed is happy with a race in which Stewart fell and then ran him down from 6 seconds back and passed him, then fell again and almost caught him AGAIN. But whatever. It's fair to say that, with 7 wins, Stewart is in charge of the series, and Reed and Grant are kind of tied for second-best based on wins.

It's odd that you think that pointing out the simple, mathematical fact that James is faster at every race is "hating". Stewart can handle Reed, so he's a better racer. Every year, Reed wins a few races when Stewart has something happen, and some of the races James wins are easier than others because something happens to Reed. It's not hating, it's simple observation of objective, historical facts.

you're just silly. these roles were reversed just a few races ago... reed down in first corner and made up 16 seconds on stewart by the end. reed got second just like stewart did tonight. if the fan boys in this sport had their way.. it would be the most boring sport on the planet. this is finally good racing. something to talk about... exciting.. yet you guys crap all over the guy that came out on top. just give him respect and move on.

Did Reed pass Stewart? Or even get close? Give it up. Reed lucked into a win in the sense that he beat 18 guys dead to rights and the one he couldn't beat, fell.

I thought part of racing was staying on two wheels. Is it Reed's fault that Stewart fell? I thought if you finished in front of another racer that meant you beat him. Maybe it means something different in Texas.

Reed can't beat Stewart unless something bad happens to James. Period. Reed wins a few races a year like that but he hasn't been able to win a title that way yet. Do Arkansas people understand simple statements like that?

Let it go dumbass. Chad won tonight and THATS in the history books. James crashed under pressure to keep his win streak intact, again nothing new about this fact.

something "bad" didn't "happen" to james. james caused it... he fell.. get it now? it wasn't bad luck on james part.. it was him making a mistake.

If James keeps falling and Chad wins another championship maybe James will have to hire Chad for some riding lessons. Smile

go smoke another kangaroo , as your brain must be full of roo sperm.
yes Reed is a great rider and super fast but he is not as fast as stewart. The only time Reed beats him is races like tonite and Stewart falls twice and still was catching him.
