To answer your question WORCSRACER:

STOP THE HANDICAPPING OF TWO STROKES IN ALL FORMS OF RACING... PERIOD.

What the OEMS and the AMA have done is basically like taking Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Steve Stricker, and other top golfers and making them tee off twice the distance as the 'average' golfers. They can't make up the difference, and even though they are better, they LOSE.

The AMA's amateur ruling helped, but the manufacturers will never put development money into a bike that is not raced at the pro level.

And in other news, Mike Castle won't endorse Christine O'Donnell‎.

Well, in 5 years you won't have to worry about it cause no one will be able to afford it anyway and most of the satellite teams will be broke, Mr money bags.

Thats nothing new my friend, those teams have been coming and going since MX came to the USA and the same goes for Europe. MX is getting stronger despite bad times and will always have the ebb and flow as it always has. Four strokes started this whole deal in the 60's and i don't see that big of a deal really. People will always find a way to race!

With all the horror in the world this is the hill you two stroke fans have decided to die on?

Do you race for a paycheck? If not then please just shut up and ride your two stroke. JESUS MURPHY, LIGHTEN UP AND HAVE SOME FUN. You know what I am seeing? Guys are bringing out the their 5 to 10 year old two strokes and freaking riding and they are unashamed that its not the "latest and greatest" because its fun! Don Emler said last week two stroke pipe sales are through the roof! He is so happy and I am happy for him. Contrary to what seems to be the opinion of the experts on this board people are racing two strokes and logically one would think some of them might even be winning races. At REM I would venture to guess 20% of the bikes racing now are 2 strokes. Probably because 20% of the riders are from MXA...Laughing None the less those guys look like they are having fun and more importantly they are riding not whining.

Straight up displacement racing is not going to happen in Professional MX or SX under the current "AMA" series management. THE DEBATE IS OVER!!! Your time would be way better spent asking for and increase of the displacement limit to 175cc and 350cc for two strokes. That could happen but straight up cc to cc will not. But hey if you're really that pissed about it, race a WORCS race 250 vs 250 is already legal. Me, IDGAF anymore! I'm racing what I enjoy and feel good on which this year is a KX450.

PS Did you really need to start another thread?

I never bought into the 4 stroke thing. I personally have been riding two strokes through this whole 4-stroke crap. I'm glad 4-strokes have been developed further to be competitive, but its being done at the cost of 2-stroke development. Which sucks for us two stroke riders. Sorry, you're lack of seeing this with your original comment ticked me off. A lot of us would quit bitching about it if they would make this one simple rule change...

PS> Yes.

I bought a Murray riding mower too, but my weed wacker is a 10 year old two stroke and it's still running strong. If it was a four stroke, I wouldn't be able to lift it without getting arm pump.

I don't agree that it's going to happen with in five years, but I agree it's all heading toward electric.
