I was there and the turn out seemed to be really good. Too bad Plessinger was injured on the very first lap of his first moto of the weekend. Also, I think Tyler McSwain fractured his femur pretty early on Saturday. It was definitely a man's track...GNARLY.

As for Balkovic, I don't know why he was disqualified. He was really fast over the weekend, though.

I heard Tim Ferry was supposed to race a 125. Anyone know if that happened or not?
Vids?

That was the word but I don't think it came to fruition. If I remember correctly, he had registered in the class but the results showed two DNF's. I'm not sure that he ever made it to the gate.

He was supposed to race Scott Meshey's practice bike in the 2-Stroke class, but the bike blew up before it ever made it to the line... sadly, very sadly. Would've been epic.

Jarek was absolutely flying, and one in contention for the King of the Classic award. He had an altercation with the track promoter and was asked to sit out the remaining races on Sunday. Nonetheless, the kid has amazing speed and a bright future.

Track promoter probably got on him for riding too aggressive. Which is lame. He's fun to watch. Not afraid to put anyone over a berm if they get in his way.

Let me preface this post by saying that I have ZERO first hand knowledge of why he was DQ'd. I do know that he went with the wrong group (a few others in said class did too) on a staggered start and he seemed pretty pissed. I don't know if it was a miscommunication and he had words with the promoter over that or what. Again, pure speculation on my part.

Are the race results posted online? I clicked on the race report and I saw a bunch of twitter posts.
Any help is appreciated.

Well considering it is the same people who run Mill Creek and they DQ'd him for that "takeout" last spring Iam sure there is some bad blood there.

It was not for aggressive riding, it was for his actions after a crash.

Balkovic is fast for sure but he seems to be kind of dangerous. I have seen him on several occasions make sketchy passes that could not only hurt others, but hurt himself too. That kind of shit will not make you any friends in a tight knit community. He needs to pass smarter and not crash so much from trying to fit a square peg through a round hole. Kid has serious speed no doubt!
