Offseason-boredom struck me, so I decided to make a list out of current and past GP-tracks that are "GP-worthy" (trackwise, I'm not talking about accomodation). In an ideal world (hence the title of this thread), they would be in some kind of "YS-database", from which the calendar can be compiled every year. Some of them are man-made, because that's a path that the GP-world has taken that won't disappear anymore, so I decided to let some of them in. I'm not sure if all of them stil exist or not, feel free to comment / improve.
I've split them up per continent.

I was also thinking about times when there were at least 7 or 8 different brands. GasGas will be new, and Suzuki will probably return on of the next seasons. It's a shame brands like TM, Aprilia, Husaberg, CCM or WRM disappeared from the scene. Speaking of which, do the last two still exist anyway?

Same story with Gore Basin IOW (and most other tracks in the UK!)
The CMM experiment never went to production. they still produce road bikes in various shapes!
