Press day has nothing to do with it, he's just that good.

I wonder if Dungey has gone backwards with bike setup lately? He has been a bit off in qualifying times starting at Millville.

There is no practice stream yet, it doesn't start until part of the way through round 2 of qualifying.

Oh gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I just saw the link to "Utah national: practice" and thought I was gonna score some more coverage today. Oh well.

Note: I would like to state that in no way did I mean to come across as bitching about the coverage. I have been very pleased with the amount of coverage we have had this year and can't stand to read bitching about it.

I bet RD is just tired from the last two years...

Is Josh Grant out because of is stitches in his arm?

RacerX is reporting no Josh Grant due to an injury sustained by his son. Must be serious.

I think everyone is just mailing it in now and trying to finish the series off healthy. They know RV has won the c'ship so why risk an injury now trying to go all out! JMO

I agree with most of that but I guarantee you Dungey isn't going to just give up in these last two rounds. He wants to win to take some confidence away from RV and gain some confidence in himself. I'm not saying he is going to win these races, but if he has the speed he will try and make it happen at all cost.

The fact that he decided to not race in order to be with his son, makes me respect him even more. What a great father!!

Time to see what Micahel Leib can do in his first ever national qualifying session.

I would guess that no matter the result it will somehow add fuel to the fire that is the US vs GP's debate.... Whistling

Maybe RV, after he wraps up this race, but I would think everybody else is still fighting for points, bonuses, etc. 4 motos is still alot for guys that are close in points.

It is exactly like the German GP just with 50 times more dirt used to build up the track.

Leib's time would have put him 19th in the 250A first session, right behind two time world champion Marvin Musquin. DizzyDryHuh

Since Marvin is a Worldchamp from the GPs, does that mean Leib would finnish second in europe? *Vital-logic*

Yeah but Jimmy Decotis qualified 15th at Unadilla so that means Jimmy D would be a 3 time world champ. *Vital-logic* Laughing

In reaity in means nothing. Leib is taking his first crack at a US national and Marv was way out of whack that session.

Considering they timed in behind Roczen and Osborne, he really would've finished 4th. He might of gotten Musquin if he was on a better bike though...

How's that for Vital logic? (Joking of course Wink )
