Yep, Reed bungled his contract re-negotiations so badly, he's earning a fraction of what he had just a year ago. Win bonuses certainly help...

If you're doing it for the money.

yes, you are wasting your time.

One benefit in being a mechanic though is your career can go on forever, unlike a racer who eventually is "too old." Pay per year isn't close to even, but per lifetime... I wonder who makes more Wink .
