The races James crashed at were straight up also.
James and Chad were on the same starting line for the main, Thats straight up.

I said when Reed took RC 6 straight it wasnt "straight up" because RC had a 28 point lead to protect for a title. And I still stand by that.

So....same for Reed. Stewie is the one who has to go for it so he should be faster since he is in the "must win" situation.

Reed didn't have to win. Soon he will but not yet.

So it wasn't straight up.

That was an awesome way to yet STILL find a way to say James didn't straight up beat him.....what's next? James wins next week and the tuff blocks are a different color so it isn't straight up? Thats what this excuse sounds like ....all races are a "must win" for Reed at this point and I'm not bashing Reed he is rding like the champ he is this year taking Daytona etc....I guess there will always be factors on both sides for a straight up win unless in Vegas they let them races each other for the entire race by themselves and why wait until the last inute to make the wins come? Wouldn't it make more sense to pull the lead asap in case of unforseen circumstances?

If James (hypothetically) wins the next 6 and Reed gets second with his current 8 point lead 6x3=18 so James will have a 10 point lead when the season ends in Vegas again if it plays out that way which means Reed needs to win 4 of 6 with James getting 2nd for him to win the title

DId I do the math right on this one?

you got the math right but the context wrong.

It can never be "straight up" unless all things are equal. And the points ain't equal.

Actually...I don't believe in straight up. I beleive the gate drops and bullshit stops and then count the points.

no you didnt get the math right . reed needs to win two races and get four second place finishes and he wins the title , guaranteed .

if reed gets five seconds and a first , bubba needs to win five and get a third place to win the title .
