TLD gear fit

About to pull the trigger on some TLD gear. There’s a note beside the pants size “runs tight”.

Those of you with current TLD gear did you go up a pant size?

I wear a 34 in fly gear should I go 36? Don’t want to deal with exchanging.

I wear TLD almost exclusively, and i have not increased my waist size when wearing TLD.

I have a set of the most recent GP air stuff and the pants fit very tight. Size 32 is usually a little big in the waste for me but these things are tight, particularly in the waste/crotch area. Kinda interesting that this hasn’t been the experience of other people. I seriously thought they sent me size 30 pants when I pulled them out of the bag.

If you happen to be getting the GP air stuff I’d point out that the quality seems to be really good for a reasonably priced set of gear.

TLD and Fly fit is similar. I wear 34 in both.

The 2021 GP Air pants I ordered last year fit slightly small in the waist but the thighs are really baggy. They fit totally different than my last TLD purchase a couple years ago. They are odd and I'm annoyed I can't return the whole set because I had the jersey customized.

I've never had them run small but this newest thing of skin tight gear has to go.

My last pair of TLD fit really tight (GP Drift). It isn't so much that the waist is wrong; just that the amount of material from the clasp in front, down beneath the seat and back up to the spine is like six inches too short. It's like they forgot that men have beans and franks.
I really do not like the whole "low-waisted" trend. Not at all.

Yea the waist size is accurate but the front is cut pretty low..I have 2019 sepro and 2022 se pro and the waists are the same but the new stuff is cut allot lower..My son wears GP and his are low also

New SE Pro stretchy gear was a terrible fit in my usual size 34, way too loose, cranked all the way tight, still slip.
Here’s one thing… no hip pads. I’m gonna try a 32 next time, maybe sew in a place to attach velcro for hip pads and use the 34’s I’ve got.
Size large Jersey fit is great. 5’10” 185.

I have the new SE Pro and wear a 32 jeans and the 32 TLD pants fit perfectly in the waist. They are a little sung on the knee braces tho, but I’m ok with that.

I'm a 28 to 30 waist and the se pro and Scout lines fit just as they should in the waist.. I just can't get them over my knee braces. I now have both in a 32 and it's still fine synched all the way up. Great lasting gear though, very impressed with the quality.

TLD needs to go back to having the adjustable Velcro closures on the sides so you can customize the fit. The new pants don’t fit as well IMHO. 215lbs sz 36 pant in all my older pants. The new pants seem to have a lower waist as well.

I don't understand do they think this is what the moto community wants? Idk a single moto bro that shops at H&M. Do they not understand the demographic? Its getting worse every year. Has nobody told them it looks gay?

My SE ultra do not fit as tight as I was expecting. I have them adjusted all the way tight and they’re still a little loose.
