If this is the case, it doesn't look good for James for 2015!Sad

From Motocross Action:

"Maybe it’s just that Suzuki is thrilled about the prospects of RCH getting Ken Roczen, maybe it has something to do with James Stewart’s yet-to-be-announced FIM penalty phase, maybe its because Suzuki found some extra dollars lying around, but rumors abound that the Ricky Carmichael/Carey Hart RCH team will be changing their name to “RCH Factory Suzuki” for 2015. Names do have meaning."

So what they're saying is that KRoc and Stew will be teammates next year......Wink

So thats why Stew missed the last few rounds. Change in sponsors. It all makes sense now...

RCH should reach into the 250 class.

Kind of figured RC would bring the factory over to Hart racing when he partnered up.

Jeez, let's make something out of nothing.

It's time to wait and hear the outcome of James Stewart's appeal, first.

Whenever they get around to it?

I keep hearing rumors of a two-year suspension, but nothing in the way of confirmation.

Well a 2 year would end his career for sure.

As far as when the appeal would be released i have heard sometime in October... Any truth to that?

All the speculation reminds me of when i used to read vital back in 2011 when he was arrested people had "insider" knowledge and said he was going to jail for 2 years and i even heard someone say he was going for 4 years. Your the only person im gonna trust with this so keep it real!! lol

Remember...rumored.

I don't think there's anything more than what you've heard. It's just that WADA doesn't mess around. Would I expect there to be lawyer racing going on? Yep.

This is pretty interesting.

Here's why spelling matters, kids. There's a huge difference between resign and re-sign.

That is interesting...there are a few public warnings, 3 mnth and 6 mnth bans......
but the majority are 2 yrs......and then a few 4 and 8...and then lifetime bans.....
looks like odds are not in Stewarts favor...if just going by the numbers...it would be 2 yrs....uugghh

Hey I like that!! I wonder what my employer would say if I said I want to resign for 2015 but re-sign for 2016... It's so crazy, it just might work Wink

JS is such a huge draw. I cant believe the powers at Feld would let this happen. He puts butts in seats. Point blank.

This is why I'm still effing confused on who gives out the penalty! FIM or WADA?

From Matthes twitter:

"He didn't get caught w a performance enhancing drug like EPO, HGH etc..it was a stimulant. BIG difference."

"I don't know what JS7 gets for a penalty from USADA but there's ZERO % chance he gets 2 yrs like people are throwing out there."

"I will still be amazed if he misses any SX races. I've just been around a long time.. FIM, AMA, Feld ALL have reason 4 JS to be there."

WADA provides the guidelines and FIM decides the penalty. That is my understanding.

I think he will miss zero races for 2015
That's a lot to expect even if he walks away without penalty.

If I had to guess...the name is reflective of Suzuki stepping-up and being more involved...I'd also guess that it's due to getting the likes of Kenny.

I have been saying from the start that the shortest penalty possible for Stew is a 1 year ban, with two being possible. Apparently few here have taken the time to review the WADA and USADA penalty history for positive stimulant test results. They do not mess around. Remember...it is not about Stew...it is about sending messages to other athletes.

So, you are saying Feld will be willing to break with FIM sanction all to keep Stew? They will also not be able to get an AMA sanction either, as they are USADA, which is a signatory to WADA. The only way Feld can over rule WADA is to go on their own and have no official sanctioning body. Then it will basically be the moster jam supercross circus.
