Thats what you do when your going for a championship isnt it?
Sitting out a Supercross season and having a knee fixed seemed to work out okay for Ricky Carmichael a few years back.
Props to Chad for riding and finishing. There's no doubt he wants this title.
I talked to someone yesterday who told me James is still progressing on his recovery. The goal is still to be on the gate at Glen Helen. Will he make it there? We'll see. He's due for an MRI soon to see how his knee is healing progressing.
Pit Row
And you know this because? Maybe he is just a helluva a lot tougher than you? Things that lay you up for a month, he rides through? Maybe you are a wuss?
Just sayin'...
Props to Chad, but if he keeps going, he must not be hurt as bad as all that. I don't think anyone could ride four straight supercrosses with a broken shoulder.
I'm not a huge fan, but I give him credit for sticking around. Even if he was given meds for pain, it doesn't mean he was high or stoned. You ever take a pain pill and go to work, or go about your day. Some pills are stronger than others you know. One pain pill doesn't mean you are DUI and not all pain pills are narcotic. How about that QB that goes to locker room at halftime and comes back throwing TD's, whats the difference.
Give the guy some credit and if not, be thankful the series just got tighter.
